These Terms of Service govern use of Altify SMS Hub (“the Service”), a business SMS product operated by Altify Solutions (“Altify”, “we”, “us”).
1. The Service
Altify SMS Hub provides tools to send SMS messages, manage contacts and groups, request Sender IDs, top up wallet credits, view reports, and access an API where enabled for your account.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for account credentials, Access Keys, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use.
3. Credits and fees
Creating an account does not by itself create a subscription obligation. SMS sending consumes wallet credits based on your configured rates. Sender ID and other fees may apply as configured by administrators. Unused credits and refunds are handled according to Altify’s then-current commercial policy.
4. Customer responsibilities
You are solely responsible for message content, recipient consent, opt-out handling, and compliance with applicable Kenyan and international messaging, consumer protection, and data protection laws. Altify provides the platform; you control what you send and to whom.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or spam messaging. See the Acceptable Use Policy and SMS Messaging Policy.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, upstream carrier/gateway issues, or force majeure may affect delivery.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altify is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from message delivery outcomes, third-party networks, or customer misuse of the Service.
